Our Lady of Hope Andover/Kinsman

 

These two parishes, made up of three churches, serve the people of Jefferson, Andover and Kinsman, Ohio, along with the surrounding areas in Ashtabula County. Each parish is unique of course, but each is comprised of very dedicated men and women of faith in every generation. We welcome visitors! If you have questions or need additional information, click on the “Contact Us” tab and use the information there to send an email or call our church office. Our regular business hours are Monday-Friday from 10:30 am -3:30 pm. If you are new to the area and would like to become a member, you may pick up a registration form from the Church vestibule or click here to access a link to the form. Completed forms can be dropped off on Sunday in the collection basket or email a scan of the document to our parish secretary at saintjoseph@jeffersoncatholic.com.   

 

~NEWS AND EVENTS~ 

 

Happy Mother’s Day

Join us after Mass on Mother’s Day down in the Church Hall to celebrate Mom’s special day. There will be donuts, a meat, cheese and veggie tray, and beverages for all. Moms will receive a special treat bag!

 

Collaborative Missions Meeting

On Monday, May 15, at 6:30 pm, down in the Church Hall, a representative from H2O Missions will speak to discuss the work of this mission. All are welcome to attend.

Rummage Sale

This year’s Rummage Sale will be held on Friday, June 23, from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm and Saturday, June 24, from 9:00 am until noon. Items for donation may be dropped off during Church Office hours starting June 12. They may also be dropped off on Sunday, June 11 after Mass, Saturday, June 17, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm, and Sunday, June 18, after Mass. Items need to be new or gently used and we will not accept any bedding. Volunteers will be needed to get the shopping rooms organized. We would like to add a bake sale to this year’s event. If you would like to donate baked goods, please contact Marnie at the Church Office.

 

Vacation Bible School

This year’s Vacation Bible School will be held June 26-June 30. Adult and teen helpers are needed to assist the organizers. Enjoy with your children as we, “let the children come!”

Purse Auction

Mark your calendar and save the date! Purse Auction, Thursday, July 13. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Drawings start at 7:00 pm.

 

Parish Logo

Are you artistic? Try your hand at creating a logo for our parish sign that will be used to identify St. Joseph Calasanctius Catholic Church at the Friday Night Out events held by the village. Call the Church Office for more information.
